Cherokee County Gamecock Club

About Us

The Cherokee County Gamecock Club is made up of alumni and fans of the University of South Carolina, who live in Cherokee County. Our club provides a scholarship fund to Cherokee County students who plan to attend USC or one of its other branches. These scholarships are available to recent high school graduates and current college students. Our club has given close to $30,000 dollars in scholarships to students of Cherokee County. The scholarship funds are raised through various fund raisers. We host an annual golf tournament at the Gaffney Country Club. We also raffle and auction football tickets at our annual fall kickoff meeting.
